The Villages Booster Bar, a vibrant sports bar in Florida’s renowned retirement community, needed an advanced AV system to deliver an exceptional viewing and dining experience. Systems Innovation was tasked with designing and implementing a solution that met the venue’s unique challenges while staying within a tight budget.
Challenge
The main challenges included balancing the client’s vision with budget constraints and overcoming spatial limitations. The client provided their own displays, requiring Systems Innovation to integrate AV encoders & decoders and configure the technology while ensuring compatibility with the pre-installed equipment. Additionally, the initial equipment room lacked adequate space and ventilation for AV racks, prompting a redesign in collaboration with the client’s mechanical engineers.
Solution
Systems Innovation installed a Crestron control system with NVX technology (AV over IP), allowing the Booster Bar staff to manage video distribution across multiple displays. A QSC audio system was also implemented, enabling routing of satellite audio to seven distinct zones inside and outside the venue. The team worked closely with the client to modify the space and ensure the AV racks were properly cooled and operational.
Result
The Booster Bar now boasts a sleek and functional AV system that enhances the customer experience. Visitors enjoy seamless video and audio across the venue, creating an immersive sports bar atmosphere.
