Installation Engineer
  • Reporting to: Director of Systems Innovation
    Responsible for: Working closely with the Sales & Project Team to deliver high standard Audio Visual Installation and providing on-site post-Sales support
    Location: Pixl Evolution’s office & London based Studio with travel within the UK, Europe and globally as required.
    Main purpose of the job: Contribute to the preparation of technically accurate bids; work onsite delivering the agreed upon technical solution; working closely with the wider team on the technical delivery, quality control and post-sales support
    Summary of principal duties and responsibilities:
    • Perform the integration of complex audio visual system to a high standard
    • Install equipment in existing client facilities or in facilities under construction
    • Build and wire racks meticulously
    • Termination of a variety of signal cabling
    • Adjust audio visual systems to optimise performance levels
    • Assist in testing and debugging of completed installations
    • Maintain cleanliness of all parts, tools, and equipment
    • Attend client meeting and site visits as required
    • Provide support out of hours when required
    • Technical equipment research and training as appropriate
      To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the Senior Management team
  • Qualities and attributes required:
    • Be able to work from schematics and plans with accuracy and attention to detail
    • Minimum of 2 years as a qualified and competent tradesperson
    • Minimum of 2 years of technical industry experience (Audio, Video, Lighting, Control)
    • Industry Certificiation relevant to the role an advantage
    • Existing product and programming qulaifications or equivalent experience an advantage

Project Manager
  • A typical day may include, but is not limited to:
    • Project planning: Develop specific timelines for projects to deliver an accurate budget.
    • Monitor and manage the progression of other trades and how each relates to tasks and project timelines to allow for forecasting of conflicts as well as allow for proactive solutions to minimize the effects on labor allocations, timeline constraints and budgets.
    • Staff deployment: Develop and maintain a technician scheduling platform.
    • Maintain communication with Lead Technicians and Technical Management on status of projects and task lists.
    • Project management: Set appropriate project milestones and maintain them through effective communication with Sales Engineer, Tech Manager, and client.
    • Process management: Develop and maintain effective analytics to measure profitability and efficiency.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures, site safety programs and project timelines.
  • To be a successful Project Manager, you should have the following:

Sales Executive
  • The AV Sales Account Executive will be responsible to act as a technical sales engineer and negotiate the terms and conditions of contracts for the sale, installation, and/or integration of audio visual and related control equipment.

    We are looking for passionate individuals who are inspired to go the extra mile while cultivating professional relationships with colleagues and clients and are innovative to provide the best service in the Audio-Visual market.

  • To be a successful AV Sales Account Executive, you must have the following:
    • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and engineering audio, video, lighting, and control systems, including display, switching, processing, control systems, equipment racks, sound systems, audio and video conferencing for control rooms, boardrooms, visualization labs, executive briefing centers, classrooms, training rooms, and other high-profile environments.
    • Experience with technology sales and installation procedures to colleges & universities, corporate, state and federal government customers, along with a knowledge of construction management and solid leadership abilities are required.
    • Membership or certification in Avixia, InfoComm, NSCA, or any other pertinent audiovisual industry programs is preferred.

Field Technician
  • The Technician, Systems Innovation works from schematic diagrams and plans with meticulous accuracy in performing the integration of complex audio-visual systems.
    Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Wires and racks meticulously to terminate a variety of signal cabling
    • Adjust audio/visual systems to optimize performance levels
    • Install equipment in existing client facilities or in facilities under construction
    • Assist in testing and debugging of completed installations
    • Maintain cleanliness of all parts, tools, and equipment
  • To be successful in the Technician, Systems Innovation role you must have:
    • CTS, DMC-E, Extron Emerging technologies certification
    • Minimum of 5 years as a qualified and competent tradesperson
    • Minimum of 5 years of technical industry experience (Audio, Video, Lighting, Control)
